Original Artworks and Hand-Finished Prints

Due to the unique and custom nature of these artworks, all sales of original artworks and hand-finished prints are final. At times a deposit may be required to secure an original piece, and such deposits are non-refundable under any circumstances. We do not accept returns or offer refunds for these items. Please review all product details and images carefully before making a purchase. If you have any questions or need additional information, feel free to contact us prior to purchasing.

Standard Prints Fulfilled by The Print Space

Our standard prints are produced and shipped by our trusted partner, The Print Space, and returns are only permitted under specific conditions:

  • Damaged or Defective Items: If your print arrives damaged or with a defect, please contact us within 14 days of receipt with photographs of the issue. We will coordinate with The Print Space to arrange for a replacement at no additional cost for the replacement print. Customers are responsible for any return shipping costs incurred.
  • Significant Delays: In the event of a significant delay in delivery, please reach out to us, and we will work with The Print Space to determine the best resolution, which may include a replacement.

Please note that for any reason other than damage, defect, or significant delay, returns and refunds are not accepted for standard prints.

General Guidelines

  • Non-Returnable Items: Original artworks and hand-finished prints are non-returnable. This policy helps ensure the integrity and uniqueness of each artwork.
  • Limitation of Liability: Our liability is limited to replacement in the event of damage or significant delay for items fulfilled by The Print Space. We are not responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. By purchasing, you agree that no further claims may be made beyond the replacement offered under this policy.
  • Governing Law: This policy and any disputes related to purchases are governed by the laws of Rhode Island, USA.
  • Contact Information: For any inquiries related to returns or issues with your order, please email us at tara@tarashoemakerart.com with your order number and a description of the issue.
  • Return Shipping: If a return is authorized due to damage or defect, customers are responsible for covering return shipping costs.

Additional Clauses:

  • Dispute Resolution: In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to attempt resolution through informal negotiation before pursuing legal action.
  • Severability: If any provision of this policy is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
  • No Waiver: Failure by us to enforce any part of this policy shall not constitute a waiver of our right to enforce any other part of it.
  • Entire Agreement: This policy constitutes the entire agreement regarding returns and refunds, superseding any prior agreements or communications.
  • Right to Modify: We reserve the right to modify this policy at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website, and your continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any modified terms.
